Cultural Intelligence

Today’s borderless business environment can make communication complex. This is not only because you might be communicating with people from all over the globe, but also because we live in an increasingly diverse society. So even in a domestic job with no overseas interactions, cultural intelligence is important. Being culturally intelligent improves one’s ability to adapt to the challenges and needs of all our team members.

  • While thinking about all of the recommendations for running effective meetings and for developing cultural intelligence, identify two specific recommendations that you feel you would benefit most from by developing further. The recommendations should be one from each chapter assigned this week. Then explain why improving upon these recommendations would benefit you the most. Share one action you will take this week for each recommendation you identified.
