can you think of an economic justification that the government would have the generous subsidy programs that are in place for agricultural products? The key with this question is using economic concepts to justify the existence of these programs (whether or not you agree with that justification). Do you agree with these programs? Why or why not? 

Thinking about all of the tool available to address our environmental concerns, come up with at least 2 specific policies the government could put in place to begin to fix these problems. You must have one policy each for bypassing market incentives and altering market incentives.
