BODY
1st paragraph:
- Make an assertion/statement (topic sentence)
- Explain why you made that statement 2 – 3 sentences
- Prove that statement with resources/support w/quotations (Avoid ghostquotations) Be sure to document your resources. 3 – 5+ sentences
- Explain the relevance of that quotation/information. 3 – 5+ sentences
2nd and subsequent paragraphs:
Include a transitional word/phrase – make an assertion/statement, and follow guidelines noted for the first body paragraph.
