- What criteria did you use to decide whether a certain topic needed to be its own category?
- What are the key differences between level 2 categories (e.g., evaluation methods, health information etc.) and level 1 categories (e.g. analytics and methods, data and systems)?

- Can you explain why you excluded articles by years for the various categories? They seems somewhat arbitrary.
- The link between slide 4 of your presentation and the “data and systems” category on your map is not clear. Could you please clarify this?
- Can you explain the rationale for including EHRs, which are focused on individual care, in public health informatics?
- What is the distinction between evaluation methods, modeling and simulation, and data analytics and mining?
- Are there any overlaps between two categories or subcategories? Which areas have a literature base, and which areas do not?
- Where would something like infodemiology/infoveillance fit in your map? What was the rationale for not including it as a major or level 1 category?
- You describe your search strategy for each of the categories, but how did you come up with the four broad categories in the first place? What informed these decisions?
- Also, your search strategy should differ across PubMed, WoS, and Scopus since they have different querying capabilities. Can you explain how you took this into account?
- How did you use the starter set of articles, if at all?
- Can you describe how you generated the list of topics under addressing challenges? It does not appear to be informed by the literature map. Since your map does not identify gaps or areas where there is a lot of research, any link between the challenges identified and your map seems tenuous. Can you please clarify this?
