A New Personality Theory
Given the theories we’ve deconstructed, reconstruct a theory rooted in foundational
considerations of the New Big Five [specifically, characteristic adaptation, culture and the self
story]. With your build, you must incorporate significant constructs from Freud, Jung, Erikson,
Maslow, Kelley, Rice and Rogers. At the very least your theory MUST address issues of motivation
and drive, the unconscious, self-actualization, a fully-functioning person, the fundamental
postulate and identity orchestration. Note that defining these constructs alone is not sufficient.
