Part I: Your task is to identify, describe and evaluate the significant rhetorical strategies from The list of Redding and Steele American values. These should be represented by the aural and/or visual elements of the artifact. For any strategy you identify, you should include specific examples of images /action / language, etc. that support and/or illustrate that strategy.
Part II: This section of your paper should identify and explain the dominant rhetorical strategy represented by the artifact you have analyzed. You must clarify how the strategies you discovered (in Part II) combine to form an overarching strategy – Affirmation, Re-Affirmation, Subversion, Purification. In other words, what is the overall message of the artifact? What moral does it teach us? What view of reality does the artifact communicate to you as a critical viewer?
