The purpose of this assignment is to provide an opportunity for you to gather data from observations and interviews and use this information to make informed instructional decisions. You will observe and interview one child as well as this child’s caregiver. Based on the information gathered, you will identify 2-3 literacy needs and plan 2 lessons (one reading and one writing) for this child.
