After reading Controversial Issues, write a short reflection of roughly 150 words on a controversial issue in your major or your field of interest.  This is just a brief, informal assignment meant to engage you with a topic related to your career. One thing to focus on is being concise. Do not go over the word limit. 

What is a controversial issue in the field of your major or in a major that you are considering?

For example, in the field of criminal justice, a controversial issue is the privatization of prisons.

·        Your reflection should be double-spaced and in Times New Roman 12 point font.
