ARTS AT MY CHURCH BLOG ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
Throughout the term, you will complete 3 blog assignments based on the use of arts in the
church. This may include visual art, dance, music, theatre, or architecture. Each assignment will
cover a different art form and include a blog post for the class to view. Each post will contain at
least 1 image (jpg or pdf) and a description of the work at the church you choose.
INSTRUCTIONS
Write about how a form of art is utilized at the church you attend in your area. Art forms may
include dance, visual art, music, theatre, or architecture.You will need to upload at least 1 image
of the art form that you found.
You will label the classification of the image with the correct form of art. The description must
be at least 150 words. As part of the description, you must include how the use of the art form in
your church integrates a Christian worldview. The image must be labeled with time, date, and
location. The name of the church and the city and address must be included as part of the
location. Refer to the Arts in My Church Grading Rubric provided for specifics regarding how
points are assigned for your thread.
