For this week’s discussion, we are going to discuss Teamwork. Please read Chapter 12 in your textbook and answer the following application questions based on your experiences:

Describe three qualities that make you an effective team member, use specific examples if possible.

Describe a time when you had to work with a difficult team member, identify examples of behavior that made teamwork challenging with that person.

Most of us have at least one aspect of our personality that does not appeal to everyone. As the old adage says, “You cannot please everyone.” Describe a time when coworkers would have described you as a difficult person.

Reflecting on your responses, describe what you are doing well or ways that you can improve your ability to work in a team.

Weekly Discussion Requirements:

In response to the discussion board prompt, students will make an initial post containing at least 250 words and then will respond to two of their classmates’ posts (total of 3 posts).
You are expected to actively participate in the Discussion Boards with thorough and insightful comments, not simply agree with what the other student said.
Points will be deducted if answers are not detailed, correct, astute, and grammatically correct.
While the instructor realizes that distance learning allows students to work around their schedule, logging in and completing all the discussions and activities on the final day of the module will not be considered “professional participation”.

After you have identified your strength and challenge, take an Enneagram Test to find out your top personality types.

There is no need to sign up for an account since you will be able to access your pie graph showing which types are your top scores. Identify which 3 pie slices are the largest (ex/ 1, 5, and 7).

Look at the descriptions for your dominant types:

- Based on your dominant types, what are the strengths and challenges that you face in a team?
- Now, compare the results of your Enneagram test and this information to your identified strengths and challenges.
