Power point


Create a PowerPoint of a theorist that we have covered within the course. The PowerPoint should be approximately 8 -10 slides long. Please remember to include a reference page. You must create your slideshow and save it in PowerPoint.

Within this PowerPoint, you will identify a theory of their choice. You will conduct research on both the theorist and the theory. The presentation will be 8-12 slides long.

Section 1 – Section 7 [ Chapter 1- Chapter 14] covered till now.

 

Hints on Preparing PowerPoint Presentations

The following hints are offered to aid you in preparing a professional PowerPoint presentation. Good presentations require planning and organization.

  1. Use eye-pleasing colors and slide design.
  2. Select a simple, easy to read font.
  3. Use a font size that is easy to read.
  4. Slides should have few words. Each issue should be identified followed by bullets with key words
  5. Use the ‘Notes’ capability well, writing out your ‘speaking text.’
  6. Use simple graphics and make them appropriate to the topic.
  7. Make sure to use citations where appropriate – in APA format.
  8. Include a title slide, introduction, body of your presentation, conclusion, and

reference slides.

  1. Keep the slides simple; elucidate with ‘Notes.’
  2. Use Spell-check!

Use Notes. In preparing a PowerPoint Presentation, simplicity is the key. Slides should be simple. Use the speaking notes for text.
