1) Explain how gender norms shape the experiences of children, and what impact do they have on children that do not conform to the norms or to the binary. Make sure to include examples.

2). From an ecological lens, explain how families, schools and educational institutions, media, religion, cultural traditions, and societal institutions contribute to gender socialization. Provide examples of at least 4 sources of influences from different ecological systems.

3) Describe how gender norms/stereotypes have shaped or influenced you or those around you.

4). Look around your environment, and take a picture of something that reflects your gender socialization. Include the image and a description of how it reflects your gender socialization.
