The Prenatal Assignment (30 points)

Due into the appropriate Assignment folder:

by Friday, June 16that 11:59pm

Part I: Watch the (1 hour, 40 minutes) prenatal video, In the Womb, by National Geographic, to help you learn about prenatal development. I suggest that you take notes as you watch the video—and EVERY video! This is a great method to learn the information best AND make it easier/more organized. This video is found at:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gAsdEUNUJY

Use this video + your textbook/notes to list 10 important pieces of information that occur in prenatal development. For each, list/explain (below) the 1) milestone (developmental accomplishment!), 2) timing (9 weeks, for example) for which it occurs in prenatal development, and 2) time (4:32 for example) in the video that it’s explained.

You are choosing what milestones to include BUT you must choose 2 or more from the zygotic period, 3 or more from the embryonic period, and 3 or more from the fetal period! In addition, one must address heart development/first heartbeat.

There are many to choose from! If you are studying with a friend, your inclusions should be unique to you. ?
