The last unit of this course is focused on organizational behavior and its effects on employees and their organizations. Behavior is always changing with new labels like emotional intelligence being brought forth and studied for application by managers. There are many factors that influence the operations of an organization. With many organizations doing business globally, employees face an array of emotions that play into their overall behavior in the workplace.
In your final essay for this course, you will first provide a definition of organizational behavior in your own words and then research various types of employee behaviors. You will then compose a comparative essay about the causes and effects of employee behavior on one another and on their organizations. Finally, you will describe how a manager’s knowledge of organizational behavior can lead to an organization’s success.
Your essay should consist of at least two pages, and you should use at least two references. Adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment. APA formatting, however, is not necessary.Resources
