The two-party system in the United States is an exciting way to look at the qualities of good political leadership. What defines good political leadership? In this assignment, you will explore what makes up an influential political leader. Using the qualities listed below research a political leader of your choice and discuss whether that politician possesses these leadership qualities. The essay should also include a biography. Be sure to use specific examples of each, such as former President Obama’s charisma, Stacy Abrams’ vision, Elizabeth Chaney’s pragmatism, and so on. Identify which of these characteristics are most important and which political leaders they would rate highest in each category.
INSTRUCTIONS: There is a 500-word minimum (approximately 1.8 pages) for this writing assignment. The finished issues paper must be typed in MLA format (double-spaced) and should be a minimum of 500 words in length. The font size is no smaller than 11 and no larger than 12.
