In “The Wall and the Books” Borges defines the aesthetic phenomenon as the “imminence of a revelation which does not occur”. Explain how this defnition relates to his story “Averröes’ Search” in two levels: First, as Averröes attempts to understand Aristotle’s concept of tragedy and comedy. And second, as Borges attempts to imagine Averröes attempting to understand Artistotle’s concept of tragedy and comedy.
