1.The report I chose was Building a cohesive high quality early childhood system. Written by Daphna Bassok, Katherine Magnuson, and Christina Weiland. This  is explaining how many children lack affordable, high quality early childhood care and education, How this compares to policy analysis in the reading is as follows, Child care and early education is classified as a high priority, and how parents of small children cannot find or afford programs that can support a child’s early development the families the process of finding and paying for child care is and can be really challenging. I think that it is based on a rational perspective because it involves finding the problem to be solved by getting facts, and finding options  when it comes to helping families reach a goal when it comes to a child’s care and education and needs. I really think that reducing costs for early education and childcare is very beneficial. A lot of families cannot afford child care. I do support the changes and the efforts being made because I think that parents should have access to child care and early education. ” The experience families have in the early care and education systems shape their use of child care over time and their ability to find and maintain employment” and keep up their childs educational needsand their medical needs.

I think that this analysis is based on a rational perspective because it involves identifying the problem to be solved by gathering facts, and identifying options and outcomes when it comes to helping families reach a goal when it comes to a child’s care and education needs.
