The first strength that I have identified in this assessment is having experience working in different organizational groups and departments. I have worked as a personal trainer before and this type of job required connection with different departments. From admission departments to finance and HR, I had worked with many departments. Learning from different departments and their professionals became my strength as I am fully aware of their procedures, work, and culture. The second strength that I have identified is understanding the perspective of customers. Dealing with customers and understanding their perspectives requires a great experience. As I have a great experience in customer dealing as a personal trainer, I can now understand customers’ needs and perspectives instantly when they communicate with me and it provides customers great satisfaction that someone is understanding what they need. My third strength is understanding the culture of the organization. Understanding the culture of an organization is the most important thing in order to settle down in an organization. As I have great experience working as a personal trainer and dealing with different departments, I have learned to adapt the organization’s culture and values so that I can respect the culture of an organization in order to fit in and maximize my performance without having any barriers. The strength that I want to improve is ‘Able to set goals and achieve them’. I sometimes get so busy with my daily work and a routine job that sometimes I get off track with my set goals. I have planned to set goals and achieve them by giving little effort on daily basis towards my goals so I can achieve them.
