Week 6 Activity – Vendor Strategies
Overview
Next week, you will submit the assignment, Management at a Company. In this assignment, you will be looking at the role a manager has in change management and decision making by examining one of the following companies:
- Southwest Airlines.
- Walmart.
- Apple.
This activity will help you prepare for the Week 7 assignment by focusing on one aspect that you will be asked to evaluate: management’s decision on its use of vendors and spokespersons.
Instructions
Complete a 1–2 paper in which you:
- Identify which company you will use for the assignment and explain why you chose this company.
- Provide a sound rationale.
- Identify some key vendor strategies used by the selected company.
- Provide sufficient detail.
Note: For your assignment due next week, you will need to cite at least three credible, relevant, and appropriate sources to support your writing.
