  • Discuss the Eker quote as it pertains to your professional experience and the material for Week 3, including the way you approach accomplishing tasks at work, on a typical workday. 
  • Do you check for correctness before you send all emails (or texts)?  If not, why not?

  • Locate a recent bad-news article published by a news organization (not Facebook posts or messages on social media) and share the live article link in your original post.  
  • Share 2-3 details of the bad news, including which method (inductive or deductive) is used.  How could you rewrite this for another audience, changing the impact of the news itself?

  •  Describe a time at work when a picture, drawing or other visual made a significant impact in a business presentation you attended.  Give a brief summary of the presentation, including the topic and some main points. 
  • What are the best type of visuals to use in a power point presentation, and how many visuals are needed in a show with 10 slides?

  • What is the most important thing to remember about making a work presentation?   How do you keep yourself from being nervous when you present?
