o You will need to explain how you will collaborate with the staff at all school
levels to emphasize the need to design and promote a Social Studies curriculum
for the district.
o Create a rationale for the need for the schoolwide imitative, including the benefit
of including content for a diverse population (Special Needs, English Language
Learners, and Gifted Students).
o Describe your plan for implementation, including a timeline for professional
development.
o Create a list of resources needed to implement the new Social Studies Curriculum
(trade books, technology, etc.)
o Your Professional Development Proposal will need to be submitted using

Studies content from your Professional Development Proposal for your colleagues
throughout the district using any available video recording device. Use an outline video
platform such as Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo to upload your completed video. You will
need to submit the link in course. Ensure that your classmates can access and view your
linked video.
