For this essay, you will write a 3- or 4-part portfolio focusing on THE POEM “LOVE SONG” BY DOROTHY PARKER  The portfolio will include a window/mirror reflection, an argumentative analysis, and a creative response. include a section that compares/contrasts the poem with another poem by the same author.Introduction (at least 150 words)1) Explain which poem you chose and why you chose it.2) Give brief information about the poem’s author.3) Summarize the contents of the portfolio.Body Section 1: Window/Mirror Reflection (at least 250 words)1) Explain how you responded to the poem when you first read it.2) Explain how/if your feelings changed after you read the poem multiple times.3) Explain how the poem reflects your personal experiences (mirror) AND/OR how the poem gave you insight into the personal experiences of someone else (window).Body Section 2: Analytical Essay (at least 250 words)1) Explain the theme/meaning of the poem.2) Explain how the poem uses at least 1 of the literary terms we studied in Unit II: Voice, Syntax, Imagery, Figures of Speech, Sound, Form, and/or Symbolism to create meaning. You may include more than 1 term. Body Section 3: Creative Response (at least 250 words)1) Compose an original creative work inspired by the poem: e. a photo collage (physical or digital—at least 8 pictures)2) Explain how the details of the creative work were inspired by the poem.3) Explain how the experience of creating the work affected your response to the poem.Comparison/Contrast (at least 250 words—worth 30 points of EC)1) Choose a 2nd poem by the same author. Use the 3 sources you found for the Annotated Bibliography. These can come from library resources or the open web, but they should be relevant and credible. You may use additional sources.2) Use MLA or APA page format, in-text citations, and bibliography citations (works cited or references). All sources, including the poem, should be cited on the bibliography page. Other Parameters1 the portfolio should be at least 1250 words.3) Vet your portfolio for grammar/mechanical errors.
